With all of his wealth and resources, Jordan could have flubbed the game, in turn, making an entire camp of children exponentially happy. Instead, Jordan went goblin mode and torched CP3, essentially saying "fuck them kids."

Two years later, in response to the video surfacing once again and a then-recent boycott on Nike, Twitter user KILLATEX made the original "fuck them kids" meme. The tweet only received 22 likes but it inspired so many remixes in the years that followed.

That wasn't all, though. The "fuck them kids" quote moved far past just the picture of Jordan. Others like Russell Westbrook, Joe Biden, Jeffrey Epstein and more were given their own black-and-white photo quotes. The idea proved to be highly remixable, only needing one filter, one text box and a despicably mature subject.

After signing with Hollywood Records, Lovato released her[a] pop rock debut album, Don't Forget (2008), which debuted at number two on the U.S. Billboard 200. Its follow-up, Here We Go Again (2009), debuted at number one in the U.S., while its title track reached number 15 on the Hot 100. Her third studio album, Unbroken (2011), experimented with pop and R&B and spawned the U.S. platinum-certified single "Skyscraper". She released her eponymous fourth album in 2013, which debuted at number three on the Billboard 200, and contained the top-ten international song "Heart Attack". Lovato's fifth and sixth albums, Confident (2015) and Tell Me You Love Me (2017), infused soul and mature themes. She earned a Grammy Award nomination for Confident, while "Sorry Not Sorry", the lead single from Tell Me You Love Me, became her highest-charting single in the U.S., reaching number six. After a hiatus, her seventh album Dancing with the Devil... the Art of Starting Over followed in 2021, which reached number two in the U.S., and her eighth album, Holy Fvck, released in 2022.

Lovato released her third studio album, Unbroken, on September 20, 2011.[95] Begun in July 2010, the album experimented with R&B and featured less pop rock than her first two albums.[96] Lyrically, Unbroken encompassed more mature themes as opposed to Lovato's previous works, with some songs focusing on her personal struggles.[97] The album and its stylistic change received mixed reviews from critics, who praised Lovato's vocals and saw a growth in her musicianship due to the songs focusing on her struggles, but criticized the album's "party songs" and found the music to be more generic than her previous efforts.[98] Unbroken debuted at number four in the US, selling 97,000 copies in its first week of release; it was later certified Gold.[99]

Lovato's fourth studio album, Demi, was released on May 14, 2013.[117] The album features influences of synthpop and bubblegum pop and was met with generally positive reviews from music critics.[118] Although Jon Carmichael of The New York Times found Lovato's transition fun, according to Entertainment Weekly it signified a less mature image.[119][120] The album debuted at number three in the US, with first-week sales of 110,000 copies, the best-selling debut week of Lovato's discography.[121] It was also successful internationally, charting in the top ten in New Zealand, Spain and the UK.[122] The album has been certified Gold in the US.[123]

i was a good wife while my husband of 23 years was deployed, he left in 2006 and came home twice. when he retired in 2013 he came home and then while i was working two jobs to pay the bills he emptied the house. I found out this past November he married a 17 yr old Philippino whore and has two kids. he emptied my bank accounts and took out credit card advances and personal loans and has sent over 500k to the Philippines. DO YOU KNOW WHAT KIND OF MONEY THAT IS IN THE PHILIPPINES!!! ya whole time he never supported me and i struggled; he claim Chicago as home and received another 3k a month in support from the navy. I never saw a dime

The British poet Philip Larkin published "This Be The Verse" in 1971. The poem is about the way that parents pass their flaws and emotional complications on to their children, who in turn pass their own misery on to their children. The only way to stop this cycle, the speaker suggests in a somewhat tongue-in-cheek tone, is to "get out" of life without having kids. Written in iambic tetrameter with a strict ABAB rhyme scheme, the poem borrows its title from Robert Louis Stevenson's poem "Requiem," which celebrates the idea of finding happiness and peace in death. For the speaker of "This Be The Verse," though, death is merely a way to avoid inevitable family tensions.

Of course, if your artist has any credibility at all then you won't want to do a straight pastiche. Instead, you'll want to parody the original work or genre, most typically by having the characters do things that would not be permissible in usual kids' shows. Not all videos do this, however.

See also Subverted Sitcom (a Sister Trope that does for sitcoms what this does for kids' shows), What Do You Mean, It's Not for Kids? (when a show not intended for children is mistaken for a kids' show), Sugar Apocalypse (where a Sugar Bowl is nearly conquered or destroyed), Disguised Horror Story (where a work of fiction masquerades as being harmless or near-harmless but eventually becomes super disturbing and nightmarish) and Vile Villain, Saccharine Show (where a lighthearted show has an incongruously sinister antagonist). If the characters in the show are also children, you may have a case of Mature Work, Child Protagonists. You might find the Depraved Kids' Show Host in one of these. Also see Age-Inappropriate Art and Grossout Show. If a show is like this parodying a specific work, it's a Dark Parody. Magical Girl Genre Deconstruction is a specific variant of subverted kids' show, focused on the Magical Girl genre.

  • Comedy George Carlin and Jack Burns did a skit called "Captain Jack and Jolly George", or what it would look like if a pair of beatnik hippies got their own kids' show. Needless to say, it's not really for children. And then George Carlin went and played "Mr. Conductor" on the American version of Shining Time Station. He then went on to do a stand-up routine on parenting (entitled "Fuck the Children") in which he tells parents "And remember, this is Mr. Conductor talking; I know what I'm talking about."

  • Robin Williams plays a Mr. Rogers-esque kiddie show host in a segment of one of his early stand-up specials. He puts a hamster in a microwave ("Pop goes the weasel!") to demonstrate to kids how "we're all going to die from radiation", much to the disgust of the show's director.

When Chanel did not return that night, Dasani felt something in the air. There was a knock at the door. Dasani shushed the kids. They pretended to be asleep. Then the door opened as an Auburn supervisor and Homeless Services police told the children to get dressed.

A petite 27-year-old from Pennsylvania, Aisha had come to Auburn in early May, seven months pregnant with Casshanae. She was born premature with respiratory distress syndrome and developed feeding problems, all of which was noted in the records that Auburn received.

A recent viral video of a group of pre-teen kids bullying and berating an elderly bus monitor showed us just how pervasive it is in society for children and teens to be rude and disrespectful to adults. Sadly, this kind of behavior from kids is everywhere, and it only seems to be getting worse.

Added to this dynamic is the fact that Baby Boomers and Gen Xers are generally less authoritarian and more submissive than prior generations were, and therefore much less likely to say no to their kids.

I have two step kids who are rude and inappropriate with each other and with their mom (my wife). The boy (age 13) and the girl (age 10) are constantly insulting and putting each other down. They like to tell each other they are stupid and how no one likes them. They also whine and complain nonstop, especially around their mom. They also tell their mom she looks bad in something she's wearing or that her food is terrible, etc. They do not listen to her when she talks to them and are rudely tuning her out.

They are in counseling and yet this doesn't seem to work. They behave well in school and in public but around their mom at home they do not. The kids both suffer from high anxiety and the boy exhibits many traits found in Aspie children. They rarely act this way around me, but act this way around their mom on a regular basis. My wife uses the permissive parenting style where she has some rules but rarely enforces or follows through with them when it involves the kids. She gives them an inch and they take a mile. I don't believe the permissive parenting style works very well with these kids. Yet she doesn't see anything wrong with her parenting style. Any help or insights would be appreciated. Thanks. 041b061a72
